NOCLOBBER Deployment Error

Problem: After restoring the runtime database, an attempt to redeploy a package results in a deployment error.

ds_deploy_error: ----DataService deployment error: NOCLOBBER

Explanation: This could happen if the package is being deployed since the last database backup. The file system data corresponding to the package may be out-of-sync with the database contents related to the package.

Solution:

  1. Navigate to: SUP_HOME\Servers\UnwiredServer\deploy\sup
  2. Manually delete the package in the \sup folder.
  3. Redeploy the package.
