You can avoid many SAP issues by meeting the basic prerequisites required to integrate your SAP system with the Sybase Unwired Platform development environment.
Server prerequisites
Check the following for each Unwired Server in the production configuration:
- Verify that the SAP version to which you are connecting is supported. Check the Sybase Unwired Platform Installation Guide for supported versions.
- Verify you downloaded the correct versions of sapjco.jar, librfc32.dll, and sapjcorfc.dll from the SAP Web site. Also verify that you installed the files correctly in the installation directory. - On Windows 7, Windows Vista, and Windows Server 2008, verify you downloaded the correct versions of msvcr71.dll and msvcp71.dll from the SAP Web site. - If you are operating in a clustered production environment, you must also enable SAP mobile business objects to connect to an SAP R/3 system that uses a router. Search System Administration for the topic Preparing Unwired Server to Connect to SAP using Java Connectors.

- If you are using the SAP Data Orchestration Engine Connector (DOE-C), make sure it is configured correctly. Search System Administration for the topic EIS Data Source Connection Properties Referenceand its SAP-related sub-topics.
- If you are using Single Sign-on (SSO), make sure you are configured correctly for the type of credential you are using—X.509 certificate, or SSO2 Token. Search System Administration for the topic Single Sign-on for SAP and its related topics.
Development prerequisites
Check the following for each Unwired Server in the development environment:
