Once tested, the exported package archive can be imported to a production domain on a production Unwired Server. Importing the archive deploys the packages it contains to a different server so no subsequent configuration is required. The values configured previous to the export process is reused in the new environment.
- Under Domains, expand the Packages folder for a production domain.
- In the administration pane, click Import, select the ZIP archive, and click OK.
The Import dialog shows a displays a message that the server connections with the same name will be overwritten.
- Review the package settings, including the pre-configured security configuration (and role mappings), log level, cache group, sync group, role mapping, subscription templates, and connection settings. Those properties are re-instated exactly as configured at export.
