Periodically run the packtool.exe utility to compress the ADS data file (QUEUED_MESSAGES.adm) for increased messaging client performance.
Performance may degrade over time, after a large number of initial subscriptions and synchronizations occur. Run the packtool.exe utility periodically from the command line to compress and reclaim unused and orphaned space in the ADS file. The packtool.exe utility is located in <UnwiredPlatform_installDir> \UnwiredPlatform\Servers\MessagingServer\Bin\.
The ADS data file is located in the <UnwiredPlatform_installDir>\UnwiredPlatform\Servers \MessagingServer\Data\OBR directory. A size of 1341702 KB is considered normal.
Run packtool.exe with no arguments from the bin directory on the Unwired Server node in which the database is installed. This is the same server in which Unwired Server is installed in single node environments and is the data tier in clustered environments.
