Instead of having to set up a Relay Server-enabled environment by manually editing multiple configuration files and running batch scripts to update the configuration, you can now use Sybase Control Center to configure and manage necessary Relay Server Outbound Enablers (RSOEs).
Because of the way Relay Servers and RSOEs are now configured, existing configurations must be migrated to use the correct file format. Configuration files are automatically upgraded with the installer; however you can perform the upgrade manually if required.
The installation of Relay Server has not changed: an archive file must be extracted to install required binaries for your platform type. This platform release bundles Relay Server 11.0.1 binaries.
