Adaptive Server 15.7 SP100 extends the support of gathering hash-based statistics to the create index command.
The create index hash-based statistics gathering options let you gather minor index attributes while an index is being created, either serially or in parallel. This saves you from having to update statistics, with regard to minor index attributes, after creating the index.
