Sybase Control Center embedded repository stores information related to the managed resources, user preference data, operational data, and statistics.
Sybase Control Center allows you to take a snapshot of the repository prior to performing the purge operation. Sybase Control Center copies the repository to the install_location\sybase\SCC-3_0\backup\generated_directory_name directory. Within the generated repository directory are two files: scc_repository.db and scc_respository.slg. Sybase Control Center does not reference an archived repository and hence it is recommended that administrators should periodically move the files to another secondary storage location to prevent the install directory size from piling up.
