Validating Browser Prerequisites

Ensure that your browser meets the appropriate requirements to launch Sybase Control Center.

Before you open Sybase Control Center, ensure that:
  1. Your browser is a 32-bit version of:
    • Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 or 7.
    • Mozilla Firefox 3.0.
  2. You have installed Adobe Flash Player 9 or higher. Sybase recommends version 10.
Despite the Unwired Platform production server tier requirement for 64-bit processors, a 32-bit browser is required. This is due to a dependency on Flash, which only installs on 32-bit browsers.
