Troubleshooting SySAM Errors

Troubleshoot the most common SySAM errors.

If a license problem occurs, solve the problem as quickly as possible. Products that cannot acquire a valid license during installation may still install or run within a grace period. If you do not solve the problem or acquire a valid license before the grace period expires, the product stops functioning.

  Typically, server products list problems in an error log, and optionally allow you to configure e-mail notifications.
• SySAM Problems and Solutions
  If the product does not install or does not function after installation, check for a solution before contacting Technical Support.
• Contacting SySAM Technical Support
  If you cannot resolve a SySAM problem, contact Technical Support for licenses generated from SPDC, or visit SMP if your license was generated from SMP. Have available as much information about your system, and the conditions leading to the problem, as possible.
