If you are using Adaptive Server 12.5.3 or later, internal
benchmarks indicate that the checkpoint task executes up to 200% faster
than formerly, causing significant gains in database recovery speeds.
This increase in speed requires no action on your part.
However, performance improvements depend on the effectiveness of your I/O subsystem. You may not see these gains until the IO bandwidth is available.
