If you are migrating device applications from Sybase Unwired Platform 1.0 to 1.2, you must perform some cleanup tasks.

Uninstall the device application from the device and delete any database files.

Back up your device application project code to another location.

Select the SUP project, and generate code for the device applications.

Add the backed up device application project code to the new generated device application project.

Fix any errors in the generated Object API code.

Rebuild the device application.
-
Deploy the device application to the device or emulator.
-
Perform a full initial synchronization on the device application.
