Oracle has announced a critical patch update for JDK 1.6 on Windows, and other JDK/JRE versions on other platforms. Due to successful security attacks, Oracle advises all users to update their JDK/JRE installation to JDK 1.6 Update 24 immediately.

This impacts Sybase Unwired Platform installations, since JDK 1.6 is distributed with the product.

Updating JDK 1.6 for Sybase Unwired Platform
Download the JDK 1.6 patch from the Oracle Web site, and update your Sybase Unwired Platform 1.5.5 environment. Since Unwired Platform uses the JDK in several places, you will need to update the JDK PATH in several files, and recreate the Unwired Server service to use the new JDK PATH.
