Configuring Push Sync Settings for Multi-Application Use Case

You can configure push sync settings for multi-application use.

  1. Deploy all your applications to a physical device or an emulator.
  2. Create a Sybase folder under Program Files on the device or emulator.
  3. Copy all files under %SUPInstallation%\Servers\UnwiredServer\clientAPI\dotnetAPI\API\bin\dpl\ce\v2 into the Sybase folder.
  4. Copy the SUPSyncConfig.xml file from the common location to your application location.
  5. In the copy of the SUPSyncConfig.xml file in your application location, modify the value in the MobiLinkHost/MobiLinkPort/MobiLinkUser/CustomListenerLaunchArguments element to point to your Unwired Server.
  6. Schedule repeat triggers for the MBO in Sybase Control Center.
  7. Start your application on the physical device or emulator, enable push sync, and set push notification role, then sync the MBO to the Unwired Server.
  8. Restart the listener on the device or emulator and change the back-end data.

    Push sync should now work.
