Creating and Deploying a Package From the Command Line - Sybase Control Center

Two command line utilities allow you to create and deploy packages from a command rather than using either Unwired WorkSpace or Sybase Control Center to execute the same functionality.

Prerequisites  You need JDK1.6.0_10 or higher to use these utilities. Also ensure that you have set the JAVA_HOME environment variable to the installation location of this JDK version. Otherwise, you must use a text editor to modify the existing JDK path in the batch file itself.
Functionality is available from two separate utilities:
  • Use the package.bat utility to create a package on the Unwired Server with administration client APIs.
  • Use the deploy.bat utility to deploys a deployment unit to Unwired Server with the administration client APIs.
  1. Open a command prompt.
  2. Change directories to the <unwired-platform>\bin folder.
  3. Run the batch file you require.
  4. Supply the appropriate values for properties of the utility.
