Installing jConnect 6.0 Metadata

Proxy tables for Adaptive Server Enterprise 15.5 data require jConnect 6.0 metadata.

Without jConnect 6.0 metadata, a CREATE EXISTING TABLE statement may return the error SQL Anywhere Error -667: Could not access column information for the table.

Using isql:

  1. Connect to your Adaptive Server Enterprise database.
  2. Enter a command in this format: 
    isql -I<path to interfaces> 
-Usa -P 
-S<ASE_server>
-i$SYBASE/jConnect-6_0/sp/sql_server15.0.sql
