Troubleshooting Replication Problems

An environment may occassionally stop replicating data, when a transaction is formatted incorrectly or when a server generates an error. To troubleshoot the situation, view the Replication Server queue data and exceptions log.

• Using the Exceptions Log
  Use the exceptions log to troubleshoot a problem with replication.
• Queue Data
  Data that passes between servers (Adaptive Server, Replication Server, and so on) is stored in stable queues within Replication Server. The Replication Manager shows queue contents and queue usage statistics.
