Replication Server allows you to resynchronize and materialize the replicate database, and resume further replication without losing or risking inconsistency of data, and without forcing a quiesce of your primary database. Database resynchronization is based on obtaining a dump of data from a trusted source and applying the dump to the target database you want to resynchronize.
With Adaptive Server 15.5 ESD #1, RepAgent, the Replication Agent for Adaptive Server, supports the full functionality of database resynchronization, such as automatic generation of the resync marker.
