Make sure the target computer on which you are installing the replication components meets the minimum memory and disk space requirements.

To improve performance by avoiding multiple network hops, install Replication Server, ExpressConnect for Oracle, and the target database on the same machine. Replication Agent must have direct access to the Oracle online and archived redo logs and must be installed on the same machine as the primary database.
