Returning a Borrowed License Before It Expires

Learn how to return a borrowed license before it expires.

  1. From the product machine, that is using a borrowed license, connect to the network.
  2. Shut down your SySAM-enabled Sybase products.
  3. Return each borrowed license by entering:
    lmutil lmborrow -return 
[-c location_of_license_file] name_of_license
