Running Replication Agent as a Windows service

You can now run Replication Agent as a Windows service, which allows you to manage it using standard Windows tools. You can use the new command utility agt_service to schedule a Replication Agent instance to start automatically whenever the machine is restarted. The instance runs in the background until you shut down.

For information on the new command utility, and how to create, delete, start, and stop a Replication Agent instance as a Windows service, see Chapter 2, “Setting Up and Configuring Replication Agent” in the Replication Agent 15.5 Administration Guide.
