Organization

This guide is organized by attributes associated with each message, including SQLCODE, SQLSTATE, and Sybase error code. SQL Preprocessor error messages are referenced by error number.

Messages are grouped by attribute. Each folder links to a set of pointer pages which identify and describe the errors. Choose the appropriate pointer page, then click the link for detailed information about the error.

• For additional information about Sybase IQ, see the Sybase IQ documentation set.
• The Getting Started CD, included with your software, contains documentation in PDF format not included on the SyBooks™ CD. To read or print documents on the Getting Started CD, you need Adobe Acrobat Reader, which you can download for free from the Adobe Web site using the link provided on the CD.
• The Sybase Product Manuals Web site is provides online access to all of the books in the Sybase IQ documentation set. In addition to product manuals, the Sybase Web site includes links to EBF/Maintenance, product certifications, Case Management, and the Sybase Developer Network. You can also create a personal profile to simplify your browsing.

If you cannot resolve a problem using the manuals or online help, please have that designated person contact Sybase Technical Support or the Sybase subsidiary in your area.
