Unified Agent can be started as a Windows service using the Microsoft Windows Administrative Tools | Services dialog. If you cannot find the “Service” dialog, contact your system administrator.
Locate the “Sybase Unified Agent” in the list of services.
Double-click the service. A dialog containing several tabs displays.
From the General tab, choose Start. Unified Agent starts.
You can set the service to automatically start when the system starts by changing “Startup type” to “Automatic.”
Additionally, you can automatically restart the service in case of failover by choosing the “Recovery” tab on this same dialog and changing the First, Second, and Subsequent failures to “Restart Service.”
Click Apply to save the modifications before closing the dialog.
