Configuration parameters

The following configuration parameters must be set if your log files are being managed by ASM:

• asm_password

• asm_tns_connection

• asm_tns_filename

• asm_username

The ASM user ID for asm_username must have sysdba permission and must be set as follows:

asm_username="sys as sysdba"
