The configuration file is a flat ASCII file that contains configuration
information for a single Replication Agent instance.
The first two lines in the configuration file identify the file as a Replication
Agent configuration file and record the time that the file was last
modified. For example:
#RAO Property File
#Fri Jan 12 07:33:18 MST 2008
Each configuration parameter name appears on a separate line,
followed by the equal symbol (=) and the current value
of the parameter. For example:
compress_ltl_syntax=true
If the Replication Agent instance is not running, you can view the configuration
file to examine the current Replication Agent configuration.
Note: Do not edit the configuration file, because Replication Agent overwrites the
entire configuration file every time the ra_config or ra_set_login command is invoked to change a
parameter value.
If the Replication Agent instance is running, use the ra_config command
to view the current Replication Agent configuration.
