Mirror Activator is a combination of Mirror Replication Agent, Replication Server, and a third party disk replication system to add disk replication for transaction logs to the Replication Server transaction-based replication to provide an optimal disaster recovery solution.
The Mirror Replication replication agent reads the log file replicated by a disk replication system, and sends it to Replication Server. To model for a primary database to which the Mirror Replication replication agent is deployed, simply select Mirror Activator in the RepAgent type list on the RepAgent Options tab of its property sheet (see Replication Server Database properties).
