Create New Table Mappings window

The Create New Table Mappings window allows you to create new table mappings for a remote schema by selecting from unsynchronized tables in the consolidated schema.

This page has the following components:

  • Choose the additional consolidated database tables to synchronize   The window shows a tree view of all of the tables in the consolidated database, grouped by owner. Select one or more of these tables to add them to the remote schema. The new remote tables have the same names and the same sets of columns as the corresponding consolidated tables, and the mappings between the remote and consolidated tables are created automatically.

  • Add the chosen tables to the remote schema if they don't already exist   Select this option to create copies of the selected tables in the remote database.

    • Let me choose the columns for the new remote tables   Select this option to choose the columns for the remote tables. Once this option is selected, you can expand the view of the tables in the window to show the columns. If a table is selected, then by default all the columns in that table are selected. Remove the checkmarks from columns that you do not want to include.

  • Hide tables named like synchronization model shadow tables   By default, tables that are named like synchronization model shadow tables are hidden. Clear this option to show tables that are named like synchronization model shadow tables.
