Deploy Synchronization Model Wizard: New SQL Anywhere Remote Database page

This page allows you to specify whether you want to make a command file and SQL file that you can run later to create the SQL Anywhere remote database or create the new SQL Anywhere remote database immediately.

If you are using central administration of remote databases, you should choose to create a SQL file that can later be used in a remote task.

This page has the following components:

  • How do you want to create a new SQL Anywhere remote database   Choose one or more of the following options:

    • Make a command file and a SQL file with commands to create the database   Select this option to create a SQL file and command file that can be run later to create the remote database.

      • SQL file   Type the name and location of the SQL file or click Browse to select the file. The command file is created in the same location.

    • Create a remote SQL Anywhere database   Select this option to create a remote SQL Anywhere database, in the specified location, with the default database creation options.

      • SQL Anywhere database file   Type the name and location of the main SQL Anywhere database file for the remote database, or click Browse to select the file. A transaction log file is created in the same location.
