Client Properties window: Transmission Rules tab

Client transmission rules govern the behavior of messages going from the client to the server.

This tab has the following components:

  • Use the default transmission rules   Select to use the default transmission rules.

  • Customize the transmission rules   Select to use customized transmission rules.

  • Transmission rules list   Lists the schedule and condition for customized transmission rules. The following buttons are only available if this option is selected.

    • New   To add a new transmission rule, click New. The Rule Editor window appears.

    • Edit   To edit an existing transmission rule, select the rule from the list and then click Edit. The Rule Editor window appears.

    • Delete   To delete an existing rule, select the rule from the list and then click Delete.
