ST_EndPoint method

ST_EndPoint method

Returns an ST_Point value that is the end point of the ST_Curve value.

Note

By default, ST_EndPoint uses the original format for a geometry, if it is available. Otherwise, the internal format is used. For more information about internal and original formats, see STORAGE FORMAT clause, CREATE SPATIAL REFERENCE SYSTEM statement.

Syntax

curve-expression.ST_EndPoint()

Returns

ST_Point If the curve is an empty set, returns NULL. Otherwise, returns the end point of the curve.
The spatial reference system identifier of the result is the same as the spatial reference system of the curve-expression.
