Start or stop a service (Sybase Central)If you start a service, it keeps running until you stop it. Closing Sybase Central or logging off does not stop the service.
Stopping a database server service closes all connections to the database and stops the database server. For other applications, the program shuts down.
From the Context dropdown list, click SQL Anywhere 12.
In the right pane, click the Services tab.
Select the service, and then click File » Start or Stop.
