Sending alert emails

 Have the Monitor send alert notifications by email

As an administrator, you can configure the Monitor to send an email to specified operators and administrators when an alert occurs for specified resources.

  1. Log in to the Monitor as an Administrator.

  2. Create an administrator or operator with an email address. See Create Monitor users.

  3. Associate the administrator or operator with a resource. See Associating Monitor users with resources.

  4. Enable the Monitor to send emails. See Enabling the Monitor to send alert emails.
