Editing ODBC data sources (ODBC Data Source Administrator)

To edit an ODBC data source, you must use the ODBC Data Source Administrator.

 Edit an ODBC data source (ODBC Data Source Administrator)
  1. Click Start » Programs » SQL Anywhere 12 » Administration Tools » ODBC Data Source Administrator.

  2. Click one of the User DSN or System DSN tabs.

  3. In the Name list, click a data source.

  4. Click Configure.

  5. Edit the connection parameters for the ODBC data source.

    Caution

    Storing user IDs, encrypted or unencrypted passwords, and database keys in a data source is not recommended.

  6. Click OK.

  7. Click OK.

Results

The ODBC data source is edited and saved.
