Two of the following utilities are required to run server-initiated synchronization:

To prepare the Palm Listener, run the Listener configuration utility on a Windows desktop to create a configuration file for the Palm, then transfer the file to the device using HotSync.
When running the Listener configuration utility on a Windows desktop to generate a configuration file for the Palm device, you must specify the RUN action command. However, on the Palm device you can delete the RUN action using the Handler Editor in the Listener. This method allows you to consume messages without initiating an action.
