Database Properties window: Synchronization Information tab (UltraLite)

This tab has the following components:

This is the most recent synchronization information   Shows the most recent synchronization information for the UltraLite database. Information can include the following:

  • Number of tables whose data is always uploaded   Shows the number of tables in the database that are always uploaded. See Allsync tables in UltraLite.

  • Number of tables not part of synchronization   Shows the number of tables in the database that are never synchronized. See Nosync tables in UltraLite.

  • This database has not yet been synchronized   Indicates that the database has never synchronized.

  • Synchronization completed successfully   Indicates that the synchronization completed successfully.

  • Synchronization was not successfully completed   Indicates that the synchronization failed.

  • Download occurred at   Shows the date and time of the last download.

  • Last download   Shows the date and time of the last download of a specific publication. If the publication has never synchronized, or has never synchronized successfully, this value is set to 1900-01-01. See How download timestamps are generated and used.

  • Upload succeeded   Indicates that the upload succeeded. See Upload OK synchronization parameter.

  • Upload failed   Indicates that the upload failed. See Sync Result synchronization parameter.

  • Uploaded rows ignored; missing MobiLink scripts   Indicates that rows were ignored by the MobiLink server during synchronization because of absent scripts. See Ignored Rows synchronization parameter.

  • No uploaded rows ignored   Indicates no rows were ignored by the MobiLink server during synchronization. See Ignored Rows synchronization parameter.

  • Download interrupted; partial download exists   Indicates that the download failed before completion and that the UltraLite database applied the portion of the changes that were downloaded. UltraLite has retained a portion of the changes that were download. To make use of this partial download the next synchronization must be configured to resume partial downloads. See Resuming failed downloads.

  • No partial downloads exist   Indicates that no partially downloaded data exists for the database.

  • Custom authentication value received   Shows the value returned by the custom authentication scripts in MobiLink.. See Custom user authentication.

  • User authentication status is unknown   Indicates that the MobiLink user authorization status is unknown, possibly because the connection has not yet synchronized. See UltraLite user authentication.

  • MobiLink user authentication valid   Indicates that the MobiLink user ID and password were valid at the time of synchronization. See Authentication Parameters synchronization parameter.

  • User authentication valid; will expire soon   Indicates that the MobiLink user ID and password were valid at the time of synchronization, but expire soon. See Authentication Parameters synchronization parameter.

  • User authentication failed: user ID or password have expired   Indicates that the authorization failed because the MobiLink user ID or password have expired.

To update the password, see Changing passwords.

  • User authentication failed: invalid user ID or password   Indicates that the authorization failed because of a bad user ID or password. See Introduction to MobiLink users.

  • User authentication failed: user ID is already in use.   Indicates that authorization failed because the MobiLink user ID is already in use. See UltraLite user authentication.

  • Number of rows in next upload   For each publication in the remote database, shows the number of rows that have been inserted, updated, or deleted on the remote database since the last synchronization. See The synchronization process.
