This section describes how to enable directory services on the platform you are using.
To enable directory services on Windows
Launch the ODBC DataSource Administrator.
Select the data source you would want to use and choose Configure.
Click the Connection tab.
Provide the complete URL in the LDAP URL field. You also have the option to provide the user name to log on to the LDAP server, in the LDAP User ID field.
