This document assumes that you are already a competent Web developer who is comfortable with desktop Web development. That is, you are familiar with the issues involved in developing content for a Web site that is designed to be viewed in Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator, running on a desktop PC with a high-resolution color monitor and a live Internet connection.

The goal of this introductory chapter is to orient you to the different design and management issues that you face in developing an M-Business channel.

The rest of the chapters in this document detail the solutions that are available to you in meeting these design challenges.
