Enclosed is Mainframe Connect DB2 UDB Option for CICS 12.6, which is a Mainframe Connect Server Option application that provides client applications with access to DB2 and non-relational data sources on an IBM mainframe running z/OS and CICS.
The DB2 UDB Option for CICS runs on an IBM z/Series or plug-compatible mainframe computer. It uses the LU 6.2 or TCP/IP communications protocol and a CICS host transaction processor.

The DB2 UDB Option for CICS 12.6 uses the Server Option API. For this reason, you should also refer to the documentation for the Server Option for CICS 12.6.
