Specifies how the UseClientCharset is used in the data translation process. For an explanation of the relationship with the DefaultClientCodeset and the DefaultTargetCodeset, see the section, “Code set translation”.

yes, no
yes causes DirectConnect to synchronize the DefaultClientCodeset and the client’s login charset, thus using the client’s charset for all translations.
no causes DirectConnect to have translation take place at the target host, using the DefaultClientCodeset value.
