If you intend to use the service name redirection feature, you must modify the snrf.tbl default file or create a new redirection file. The file is located in the %SYBASE%\%SYBASE_ECON%\(ServerName)\cfg directory. Or, you can use DirectConnect Manager to modify the file.
You must also define the configuration property called ServiceRedirectionFile=snrf.tbl that is in the server.cfg file, in the Client Interaction section. If the snrf.tbl file is not identified, then service name redirection is disabled.
