Perform special connectivity tasks for AS/400

The DirectConnect product that accesses AS/400 is DirectConnect for DB2 UDB, which uses TCP/IP for connectivity. To set up the AS/400 to communicate with these DirectConnect products, you must perform the connectivity tasks described in the following sections.
