DirectConnect for Microsoft SQL Server worksheet

Use the following worksheet to identify information that you should designate and record prior to installing DirectConnect for Microsoft SQL Server. You are prompted for this information during installation.

Much of the DirectConnect for Microsoft SQL Server installation process is accomplished when you configure Microsoft SQL Server data sources using the Windows ODBC Administrator tool.

DIRECTORY NAMES: DC-12_6 OCS-12_5

DirectConnect Directory Name:

The %SYBASE_ECON% and %SYBASE_OCS% home directory for DirectConnect for Microsoft SQL Server (sets to DC-12_6 and OCS-12_5).

DSN:

DSN:

The Data Source Name for Microsoft SQL Server access.

DATABASE NAME:

Database Name:

Specify the name of the database to which you want to connect by default. If you do not specify a value, the default database defined by SQL Server is used.
