Chapter 4: Configuring the Server

Using the text editor

StepsTo edit or change the server configuration property values using the text editor

  1. Open the server configuration file, server.cfg, with a text editor.

  2. Change values as applicable.

  3. Save the file.

  4. Stop the server, then restart it to implement the changes.
