Messages sent to the console

Any of the following messages can be sent to the console (stderr) when the DirectConnect server is started from the command line and encounters an error:

Console messages

Description

System info is invalid

Message indicates that either the system environment variables are not working properly, or the system is low on memory or other resources.

Memory allocation failure: property

Message indicates that the system is out of memory.

Could not load the configuration:{filespec}

filespecserver.cfg

The noted configuration file is missing, incorrectly named, in the wrong location, or corrupt. The message text displays the full path and file name of the expected file.

Invalid configuration property value on line: {line_number}
 The configuration is invalid: {filespec}

server.cfg

One or more configuration properties contains an invalid value. The message text displays the full path and file name of the erroneous file.
