You must already have added both servers to the interfaces file
before you can install the high availability stored procedures.
If you run installhasvss before performing
these tasks, you must reinstall all the system stored procedures.
The installhasvss script:
Installs the stored procedures required for fail over (for example, sp_companion)
Installs the SYB_HACMP server in sysservers
You must have System Administrator privileges to run installhasvss.
installhasvss is located in $SYBASE/ASE-12_5/scripts. To execute installhasvss, enter:
$SYBASE/$SYBASE_ocs/bin/isql -Usa -Ppassword -Sservername <../scripts/installhasvss
installhasvss prints messages as it creates stored procedures and creates the SYB_HACMP server.
