This release includes a new version of the backend ODBC drivers for DB2 UDB (DRDA), Microsoft SQL Server, and Informix. The installation process will not delete the previous version of these drivers, because the new versions are named differently. However, version 12.6.1 of DirectConnect will not work with previous versions of the drivers or driver manager.Sybase recommends that you use the new odbc.ini (or odbc.ini.NEW if an odbc.ini already exists) generated during the installation.For all drivers*, the driver property should point to the new drivers:
