Message format |
The messages in this chapter are listed in ascending order by message number. The message number format consists of the prefix “LEX,” followed by a numeric message identifier and a message level. |
Message text |
The message text that follows the message number is in uppercase text. After each message is an explanation and, if appropriate, a suggested action to take. |
Variables within messages |
Message variables appear in lowercase italic text. Actual values replace the variables when the message displays. For example, in the following message, “A bad switch value of switch_value,” the variable is represented by switch_value. |
