Before you run sybmigrate, upgrade the source Adaptive Server to version 12.5.0.1 or later, and install the target Adaptive Server as version 12.5.0.1 or later. Perform all upgrade-related checks before migrating data.
You must install the target Adaptive Server with the new page size. Use either srvbuild or sysconfig.exe to build the new Adaptive Server.
The major version of the source and the target Adaptive Server must be the same. That is, when you are running sybmigrate on a 12.5.0.1 version Adaptive Server the 12.5 should be the same, but the 0.1 may increase.
