The Adaptive Server plug-in is developed using the Sybase Central toolkit. It runs as a plug-in within a viewer that allows you to load multiple plug-ins concurrently. The Adaptive Server plug-in built using the Sybase Central C++ version, which runs only on Windows NT, Windows 2000, and Windows 98, is no longer being developed. It is being replaced with the plug-in for Adaptive Server version 12.5, which was developed using the Sybase Central Java Edition toolkit, and which runs on all platforms.
