If you want to return to RepConnector version 2.0 after installing RepConnector version 2.5, you can downgrade by following these steps.
If you downgrade to RepConnector 2.0, you must use JDK 1.3.
Downgrading to RepConnector 2.0
Start InstallShield for the RepConnector 2.5 installation.
See Chapter 5, “Uninstalling RepConnector 15.0,” for detailed instruction for uninstalling the product.
Shut down EAServer.
Extract the files from the backup jar file in the EAServer directory that InstallShield created when you upgraded your system.
For Windows:
cd %JAGUAR% %JAVA_HOME%\bin\jar -xf Repra20Backup.jar
For UNIX:
cd $JAGUAR $JAVA_HOME/bin/jar -xf Repra20Backup.jar
Restart EAServer.
To pick up the new environment variables, you must restart EAserver using one of the options described in this procedure. Do not use the Shutdown and Start command in Jaguar Manager.
From the command line:
To shut down EAServer, enter:
%JAGUAR%\bin\jagtool -h <server's hostname> -n <servers port number> -u <admin user> -p <admin password> shutdown
To start EAServer, enter:
cd %JAGUAR%\bin serverstart.bat -jdk13
From Sybase Central:
To shut down EAServer, in Jaguar Manager, right-click the server in the Servers folder.
Select Shutdown.
The server shuts down.
To start the server, select Start | Programs | Sybase | EAServer 4.2.2 | Jaguar Manager.
