If Appeon Server applies LDAP security and the deployment security for the Appeon Server is set to ON in AEM, deployments to the Appeon Server always fail even though all settings made for the Appeon Server in Appeon Developer are correct. The reason is that the LDAP user name and password specified in the Appeon Server profile configuration cannot pass the deployment security authentication. This is an Appeon bug and will be fixed in the future versions.
Workaround: To apply LDAP security, make sure the deployment security for the Appeon Server is set to OFF.
